We frequently read in the Bible of the LORD of Armies or the LORD of Hosts. Such terms emphasize the almighty power of God. The Apostle Paul speaks in the New Testament of fellow soldiers. The church is rightly viewed as the body of Christ and the bride of Christ, but in this course we will consider it as a special army of God. What are appropriate characteristics for Christian soldiers as individuals and for the church in community? We will focus on the traits of soldiers in I Chronicles 12 and the practical application for the church today.
