Why the change?
We’re E-Moving to Populi! (But staying at the same physical address)
Tallahassee Christian College and Training Center is changing the programs that students, faculty, and staff use to interact with the school online and maintain academic records. Beginning with the Winter/Spring 2021 semester, TCCTC will be using the integrated school-management and online-learning system called “Populi” [“pop ∙ you ∙ lee”].
An important benefit to students will be access to their own student records online. When the transition is complete and all of the records from our old database are transformed to the Populi format:
You will be able to do a progress check to see where you stand and what you have already accomplished.
You will be able to access your financial records as well.
This means some important changes for our students and faculty.
When you contact TCCTC to register for classes for the Winter/Spring semester, a Populi user account will be created for you. Note: your username will be standardized, e.g.: John Doe’s account created in 2020 will be jdoe20.
You will receive an email telling you your username and asking you to set a password.
“LOG IN” on the menu at tcctc.org will be rerouted to take you to the new location after the Fall semester ends and faculty have submitted grades. Until then, please use your current log-in.
Online courses will appear a bit different but function in ways very similar to what you’ve experienced in CONNECT.
