What I learned

What I learned at Tallahassee Christian College and Training Center

A fundamental human urge is to know who we are and why we exist. Both are critical to our mental and emotional health. Lack of answers lead to poor mental health and many physical problems.

Many avenues are offered by this world to alleviate these problems. These include purchasing things and seeking accomplishments to make one feel superior. These do not fully satisfy so we continue to look for more.

The reason for our existence can only be determined by where we came from; our purpose can only be determined by the reason we came into being. Evolution fails to produce reasons for existence. Random events eliminate purpose and meaning. To discover them we must turn to the One who made us.

Reading God’s word begins to answer both questions. To further understand His Word it helps to study with others who are seeking meaning from the same source.

Tallahassee Christian College and Training Center offers classes and seminars for people who are serious about studying God’s word. All classes are based on Scripture. When a question comes up the answer is “let’s see what God’s word says about that”. People come from many different denominations to dig deeper into His Truth. TCCTC fills the gap between opportunities offered in congregational settings and those offered by denominational seminaries.

If you want to know the Truth go to the source by reading the Bible. If you want to study further and deeper with a group of like minded seekers, take a course or seminar at TCCTC. When you do you may find you want to stay to finish a degree like I did. It is a great way to build a solid foundation for living the Truth of who you are and who God is.
